What is this mod?

Have you ever been in a situation where you needed to transport a resource to the relatively middle distance for which tractor or a truck would be perfect? Usually the only thing that stope one from using them in this case (besides their awful physics) is a lack of fuel supply for the station. Worry not, this mod is aimed to solve this exact issue! Charge your vehicles with energy from your power grid!

At Tier 5 there is a new milestone - Electrical Vehicle Recharging. It gives access to Truck Chargers.


It is essentially a module you need to plug into your Truck Station, providing it new functionality, described below:
- Station now requires no fuel input from you, because the fuel input connection is getting occupied by the Charger.
- It consumes 1500 MW of power when fuel inventory slot isn't full.


Full stack of the Truck Power resource should be enough for about 5 minutes of a ride on Trucks.


As a bonus the milestone also unlocks Small Truck Station. It:
- Is compact, duh~
- Has half as much storage, and as such - only has one of input/output connections. Has no fuel inventory input connection.
- Recharges vehicles and transfers items slower than a regular Truck Station.
- Only consumes 500 MW of power. Doesn't need Truck Charger.


Because of how small these stations are, you can also use them as intermediate stops to recharge your vehicles. Truly the pinnacle of logistics.

Compatibility

The mod is most likely fully compatible with other mods and multiplayer. If issues occur, report them.

In addidion, Truck Charger is designed to be compatible with modded Truck Stations which have an input conveyor connection which is internally tagged as a Fuel one.
