About this Mod




Squire: A battle style that is focused on the techniques of a mercenary, with a focus on swords, daggers, bows, alongside cavalry skills.
Recruit: A battle style focused on military techniques like spears, crossbows, shields and the donning of armor to withstand hits.
Journeyman: A battle style that is based off the techniques of the civilian and fighters, wielding heavy weapons like axes, and even fighting unarmed. Repeated use of heavier weapons makes these people incredibly powerful and healthy.

Ronin: A battle style that is focused on Japanese weaponry, they focus on doing high damage with speed bursts. With high speed high power katana and tachi attacks. Quite fragile.

You are free to contribute to Epic Fight Battle Styles. All animations and visual works will be credited and will have the right license given to them.

How to Install Battle Arts on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Battle Arts". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Battle Arts server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Battle Arts compatible with forge and neoforge?
Battle Arts officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.6, 1.20.5. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Battle Arts – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Battle Arts consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
