You can create an addon using the files from config/boss_checklist/override/; details are on the wiki.
You can also send these files to me (on GitHub or elsewhere), and I can add them to the mod.

⚙️ Configuration
- Client: progression mode, ignoring defeats without your participation, search bar, progress bar, statistics tab, health and armor display, animations, and the buttons (pause menu, inventory, editor) with their offsets. Most of these are available in the in-game settings; a few are file-only and meant for modpack makers.
- Server: statistics, saving the boss killer's name, and multithreading.
Then again, the bosses themselves can also be edited.

Boss Checklist server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Boss Checklist compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
Boss Checklist officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.3, 26.2, 26.1.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Boss Checklist – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Boss Checklist consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
