About this Mod
Easily call your cat with a goat horn whenever you need it
The cat can be anywhere, it always works to teleport it to you, even in unloaded chunks
There's currently a bug, where if the cat you want to call is too far away it will be invisible after the teleport
--> to fix that you have to rejoin the game
How it works
1. Tame a cat
2. Give the cat any name (it can not include special characters like # or ')
3. Hold any goat horn you want in your hand
4. Sneak and look at the cat for 4 seconds
4. You will then get a horn that looks enchanted and has the name of the cat
5. Whenever you use the horn, it will teleport to you
--> Only the owner of the cat can get the goat horn + use the goat horn to call the cat

How to Install Call Your Cat on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.3).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Call Your Cat". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Call Your Cat server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Server lagging with Call Your Cat – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Call Your Cat consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
