What is Chaos Awakens?

• Chaos Awakens extends the current experience of the game. Chaos Awakens adds/or will add more bosses, armor, weapons, tools, dimensions, dungeons and so much more! With all this said, we aim to bring a crazy experience into Minecraft. Currently, the mod is in beta and is still expanding. Chaos Awakens is spiritually inspired by Orespawn and may have features recreated by our very own team!

• We are also not related to the original Orespawn mod creator in any way and we create everything for the mod ourselves!

Q. Where are the major bosses and other distinct features?

A. This mod is still very early in development and will be for some time, so major additions, such as bosses, will come as updates get released later down the road.

Q. When will you be porting the mod to versions 1.18+?

A. Once the 1.16.5 version is more stable and complete, this mod will be moving onto later versions.

Q. Will this mod ever be ported to Fabric?

A. Probably, but this won't be until the Forge version of this mod is complete or has neared completion.

Q. When is the next update?

A. There are no ETAs for updates.

Q. Isn't this mod just an OreSpawn port?

A. No, Chaos Awakens is a Spiritual Successor to OreSpawn. This is not a gray hat backdoor to "porting", it means that the mod's main concept revolves around OreSpawn, but the mod itself remains as its own. Features and additions are all subject to change at any given time, and every single asset is made by this development team!

Q. Will there be a backport to 1.12?

A. A backport is planned, but very unlikely to happen before the mod is complete. Even then, it will only be backported by that time if 1.12 remains relevant enough as a modding version.

Q. Are you guys affiliated with the original OreSpawn in any way?

A. No, we just revolve around the original idea of OreSpawn. We are not in any way affiliated with the original OreSpawn, its creator, or any other ports/spiritual successors. The team behind Chaos Awakens is not the same team that made OreSpawn.
