About this Mod
Have you ever wanted to crawl through a one-block-high space in Minecraft, but didn't have a trapdoor handy?
Or sneak past your enemies without being seen? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need the Crawl on Demand Mod! This mod lets you go prone (crawl) on the ground by pressing a hotkey. You can crawl through any space that is at least one block high.
This mod adds a whole new dimension to your Minecraft experience, allowing you to explore new places, hide from danger, and roleplay as a spy or a soldier.

Now that the fun stuff is out of the way, the Crawl on Demand (Go Prone) mod is compatible with most other mods, and it works in both single player and multiplayer including on servers.
The default key to toggle crawl is LEFT-ALT, but this can be changed to whatever you like in Key Binds.

How to Install Crawl on Demand on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Crawl on Demand". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Crawl on Demand server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Crawl on Demand compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
Crawl on Demand officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1, 1.21.11. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Crawl on Demand – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Crawl on Demand consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
