About this Mod

Porting information for 26.1 update
#StandWithUkraine

Mainly for modpack creators

With this mod you can set the world type which is selected by default when creating a new world.

Example: you have Skyblock Builder installed and set the value in the client config to skyblockbuilder:skyblock. When creating a new world, the user don't need to change the world type for itself to that type.

With this, accidently generating the wrong world will not happen. Or it's just less possible.

The mod generates a file with allowed config values once you enter the Create New World screen.

You are allowed to put this mod in any modpack you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Default World Type need to be installed on the Minecraft server?

No. Modrinth marks Default World Type as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.

Which version and loader does Default World Type require?

Use a file for forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.

Default World Type is not working – what should I check?

First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
