About this Mod
Archival Notice
As of v0.36.0, the core functionality of this mod is included in Flashback.
Flashside
Moves the Flashback recording buttons to the side of the game menu.
Not affiliated with Flashback.
Why?
Because I kept accidentally hitting "Start Recording" when trying to leave servers.
About
- Flashside automatically detects the first (top-most) button on the pause screen, and uses that as a reference for
placing the Flashback buttons. You can configure which row the buttons start at via the Cloth Config options UI. - If you find that Flashside conflicts with another mod, please report it on Discord or GitHub.

Does Flashside need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks Flashside as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does Flashside require?
Use a file for fabric and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
Flashside is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
