FreeLook
The Original FreeLook Mod! Allowing you to rotate your view without affecting your movement.
About this Mod
The Original FreeLook Mod, regretfully I did not adopt Modrinth fast enough to get the correct project ID :D This mod allows you to rotate your view without changing your movement! Much like you can in many FPS games, you can hold the keybind (Left Alt by default) and look around while staying whichever direction you are moving. The view will return when you let go of the key. You can configure this to return slowly (interpolate) or instantly.
Client Side only!! So you can use it while you play on servers!
Feel free to use this in your modpacks!
Versions: Here on Modrinth, I will be uploading only the latest as of now and plan to upload consecutive versions as they are released. You can find earlier versions via other distribution channels.
Some GREAT uses for FreeLook!
look around while flying with elytra, without changing acceleration
look to your left or right while still running forward

Does FreeLook need to be installed on the Minecraft server?
No. Modrinth marks FreeLook as unsupported on the server side. Install it only in your local Minecraft mods folder. Your server can remain unchanged unless the mod page lists an additional dependency.
Which version and loader does FreeLook require?
Use a file for fabric, forge, neoforge and your exact Minecraft version. Supported versions include 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 1.21.11. Files for different loaders are not interchangeable.
FreeLook is not working – what should I check?
First check the Minecraft version, loader version and required dependencies. Put the .jar file in your local .minecraft/mods folder and remove older duplicates. Because this mod is client-side, adding server RAM will not fix it.
