PistonAngles

PistonAngles

Place pistons facing any direction you choose without having to look that way. Set a direction in the config or cycle it with a keybind, and every piston you place points where you want — even on servers.

About this Mod

Piston Angle

Tired of contorting your camera just to make a piston face the right way? Piston Angle lets you lock piston placement to any direction — down, up, north, south, east, west — no matter where you're actually looking.

Features

  • 🎯 Force piston facing — pick a direction and every piston you place points that way. Covers regular and sticky pistons.
  • ⚙️ Config screen — set the direction through Mod Menu, or leave it on Auto for 100% vanilla behavior.
  • ⌨️ Quick-cycle keybind — press V (rebindable) to cycle directions on the fly. The current direction flashes on your actionbar, so you never open a menu mid-build.
  • 🌐 Works on servers — placement direction is applied in a server-friendly way, so pistons keep their forced facing on multiplayer servers without the mod installed, and it plays nice with anticheats.
  • 💾 Setting persists across sessions (config/pistonmod.json).

How to use

  1. Drop the jar in your mods folder (Fabric API required, Mod Menu optional).
  2. Press V in-game to cycle: Auto → Down → Up → North → South → West → East.
  3. Place pistons. That's it.
