About this Mod
Random Tick Control
Random Tick Control allows you to configure what happens when any block or fluid gets a random tick attempt.
By default, the mod matches vanilla behavior. The config, which can be accessed in-game through the mod menu, allows you to choose the random tick behavior. If your config changes aren't working, just run /reload!
A block set to never random tick will ignore the random tick event. Random block behaviors such as melting, growing, or spreading can be prevented in this way.
A block set to always random tick will experience a random tick even if it is in a state that normally blocks them. Most crops stop experiencing random ticks when mature, which might interfere with other mods or scripts that hook into that event. Additionally, blocks that normally have no random tick behavior can be set to still experience the event.
There should be practically zero performance impact when using this mod, and depending on what blocks are set to never tick, may even increase your performance.
Depending on your configuration, some modded blocks that rely on vanilla random tick eligibility checks may break or crash. Simply remove the block from the configuration, and report it to the mod's author.

Random Tick Control officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Random Tick Control – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Random Tick Control consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
