Realm RPG: Treasure Balloons is a lightweight mod that adds rare balloons with chests flying above players. All loot is balanced so as not to disrupt progression and to encourage adventures & exploration of your world!

🎈Features

Treasure Balloon is a new type of entity that sometimes spawns in sky and flies past the player in random direction. Take it down with any ranged weapon before it flies too far away (but remember, that weak thrown items like snowballs and eggs can't pop the balloon). After successfully shooting it down, the chest will fall to the ground and you can retrieve the loot.

Rarity is chosen randomly for each balloon. It is associated with a recognizable color, spawn chance, and loot inside:

Common - 60% chance, drops mostly starting materials & leather.
Uncommon - 16% chance, drops mostly farming-related items & copper.
Rare - 9,6% chance, drops mostly aquatic-themed items & iron.
Epic - 5,7% chance, drops mostly alchemy-related items & gold.
Legendary - 2,6% chance, drops mostly enchantment-related items & diamonds

However, to encourage you to shoot down Balloons regardless of rarity even at the endgame stage, they may rarely drop very valuable items, such as enchanted books. However, don't worry, you won't get enchanted diamond armor on day one just by being lucky: balloons mainly drop materials, so you'll still have to play hard to use them for their intended purposes.

Spawn & Despawn. Balloons will spawn individually for each player when they are in suitable open areas. If there aren't many balloons flying over your base, it might be a good reason to go outside and explore new lands! When you see a balloon, try not to delay in shooting it down: if the balloon flies too long or gets too far away, it will disappear. A chest that has fallen from a balloon may also disappear, but only after about ten minutes of inactivity.

Multiplayer.  When playing with friends, you should know that the mod is balanced for multiplayer. There is a limit to how many balloons can spawn in a large area, and if a big group of players live together, it will not cause a balloons overspawn above their roof. However, if players live apart or travel far from each other, balloons will spawn for each of them as often as in a single-player game.

Mod Compatibility. This mod is designed to be played on any modpacks with any mods. However it features built-in extended support for several popular mods:

• TerraFirmaCraft - a completely new loot rebalance that respects the TFC progression.
• The Aether - Balloons appear in the dimension at almost any height.
• Twilight Forest - Balloons spawn within the dimension.
