About this Mod
zMCSandbox
The Wave-Based Survival & Map-Creation Framework

zMCSandbox is a fleshed out (no pun intended) wave‑based survival gamemode inspired by classic Zombies-style gameplay. It gives creators the tools they need to build custom maps with round progression, perks, barricades, wall‑buys, custom spawners, and a full economy system. Maintaining the vanilla feel of Minecraft, this mod is perfect for those who want to relive their childhood with the comfort of their favourite block game.

Features
The wave system with automatic scaling
A point‑based economy with purchases to match
A perk machine mechanic including several basic perks
A Barricade/door system with custom pricing
Wall‑weapon frames, also with customisable prices
Custom spawner blocks linked to doors (WIP)
A Scoreboard UI for both rounds and points
Creator tools and commands for fast map setup
Featuring three pre-made maps

(If, for some reason you'd like to support the chaos behind this mod's creation, I do have a Patreon! This will come with little benefits such as getting to know the real me, as well as extra Motion content from Miss Motion!)

zMCSandbox server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is zMCSandbox compatible with forge?
zMCSandbox officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.19.3. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with zMCSandbox – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if zMCSandbox consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
