Description

EXPERIMENTAL. Early version, not tested in a full playthrough. Back up your saves.

Difficulty+ makes the Space Elevator project assembly phases as hard as you want. When you create a new world, open Mod Savegame Settings and pick a cost multiplier for each phase: x0.5, x1, x2, x3, x5 or x10. Every option lists the resulting item counts, so you see exactly what each phase will cost before you commit.

Settings are fixed at world creation and hidden in-game. Costs scale from vanilla values, rounded up (minimum 1 per item). Each world keeps its own values.

Frequently Asked Questions

Difficulty+ not working after update – what to do?

After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Difficulty+ has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.

Difficulty+ causing crashes in multiplayer – solution

Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Difficulty+ v4.2.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.

Is Difficulty+ compatible with other Satisfactory mods?

Difficulty+ uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
