Swift Swimming
Improve swimming speed and enable diving.
Description
This is a small mod meant to enhance swimming in the game. It mainly does two things:
- Significantly increase swim speed
- Allow diving underwater, movement follows look direction
Note that this mod does not enable building stuff while underwater. However, [Underwater Construction](https://ficsit.app/mod/UnderwaterConstruction) has you covered in that regard, and both mods are meant to work together.
Swimming speed should be at least as fast as walking, and it is also possible to sprint swim. Sprint swimming takes equipped blade runners' speed multiplier into account, so modded blade runners will also increase swimming speed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Swift Swimming not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Swift Swimming has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Swift Swimming causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Swift Swimming v1.2.1 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Swift Swimming compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Swift Swimming uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
