Uphill Sliding
Slide uphill without abruptly losing momentum and keep chaining existing slide jumps. Singleplayer only.
Description
Uphill Sliding
Keep your speed when the terrain turns uphill.
Uphill Sliding lets you continue sliding across walkable uphill slopes without abruptly losing horizontal momentum. Carry the speed you built downhill into the next incline and keep chaining Satisfactory's existing slide jumps across uneven terrain.
Features
- Slide uphill on surfaces the game considers walkable.
- Preserve horizontal momentum when an incline would normally slow your slide.
- Use the normal crouch and jump controls; no unlocks required.
- Release crouch or use reverse movement input to brake.
The game's existing slide-jump boosts and downhill acceleration remain unchanged.
Compatibility
- Windows, singleplayer only.
- Tested with Satisfactory 1.2.4.0 (build 502094), Epic Games.
- Requires Satisfactory Mod Loader 3.12.0 or a compatible later 3.x version.
- Movement changes are inactive in multiplayer and on dedicated servers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Uphill Sliding not working after update – what to do?
After a Satisfactory update, mods need to be updated. Check ficsit.app whether Uphill Sliding has been updated for the new game version. With Mado Hosting: open the mod manager and click "Update All". If the mod hasn't been updated yet, temporarily remove it so the server starts.
Uphill Sliding causing crashes in multiplayer – solution
Most common cause: all players must have exactly the same mod version installed. Check server logs for "ModMismatch" or "Version Conflict". Ensure all players use Uphill Sliding v1.0.0 and the same SML. With Mado Hosting, Satisfactory servers run with 6 GB RAM for stable multiplayer performance.
Is Uphill Sliding compatible with other Satisfactory mods?
Uphill Sliding uses the Satisfactory Mod Loader (SML). Generally, SML-based mods are cross-compatible, but mods modifying the same game systems can cause conflicts. Test new mod combinations on a backup save. The Mado dashboard automatically detects known conflicts and warns you.
