About this Mod
Half Heart Challenge is a lightweight, server-side friendly hardcore mod designed for custom challenges, multiplayer events, or extreme survival playthroughs. By default, the mod is completely disabled, allowing players to enjoy a standard Minecraft experience upon joining.
However, server administrators can instantly trigger the hard mode for any player using a set of flexible commands and target selectors. When activated, the chosen player's maximum health drops to a single half-heart (1 HP). This state is saved directly into the player's data, meaning it will persist even after respawning or restarting the game.
Available Commands (Requires OP/Cheats):
/1hp @s on— Enable 1 hp challenge for yourself./1hp @a off— Disable the challenge and restore standard health for everyone./1hp <player_name> on— Instantly set a specific player's health to half a heart./1hp @p off— Restore normal health for the nearest player.
The mod fully supports standard Minecraft target selectors (@a, @p, @s, @r) and features handy Tab-completion for fast typing in the chat!

How to Install 1 HP Challenge on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.12.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "1 HP Challenge". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
