About this Mod
An unofficial 1.20.1 backport of Actually Additions, a tech mod.
So far, all features have been ported over. Several include:
- The atomic reconstructor, used to turn resources into crystals.
- Machines for automatically doing stuff, such as the auto-placer for automatically placing blocks, auto-breaker for breaking blocks, and the farmer to farm. In this port, the auto-breaker can utilize the top-left slot to break blocks, if a tool is needed.
- The empowerer for empowering crystals into their empowered form.
- Canola for oil production, which can be a powerful source of energy.
- Lasers for logistics, allowing transport of energy, items, and fluids.
- And much more.

I did not make this mod, the original author, developers, and artist did. I simply ported it to 1.20.1.
Available Versions
How to Install Actually Subtractions on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.3).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Actually Subtractions". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Actually Subtractions server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Actually Subtractions compatible with forge?
Actually Subtractions officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.3, 1.20.2, 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Actually Subtractions – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Actually Subtractions consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
