Adaptive Tick
Changes tick rate based on your health. Simulate adrenaline.
About this Mod
Got a mod pack that makes survival extremely tough? Say Chaos Core for example? Well with Adaptive Tick, your game will slow down as you lose health and pick up speed as you regain health. Say you're at 5 hearts; the game will be running 50% slower. This works by setting the rate of the tick to your health.
If multiple players are active, it tick-syncs the health of the player who has the least amount of health.
Sadly, and as of Minecraft 1.21.11 you can't adjust the permission level of functions in singleplayer worlds.
Fortunately, this can be mitigated and bypassed with mods that adjust /tick's permission level. See TickLowerPerm for singleplayer options.

Adaptive Tick server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Adaptive Tick compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Adaptive Tick officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Adaptive Tick – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Adaptive Tick consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
