About this Mod

AeroBind is a mod that makes the Minecraft control menu convenient, clear, and modern. If you're tired of scrolling through a massive list of settings looking for a specific keybind, this mod is the solution.

🎮 Why is it so convenient?

  • Instant Search: Just start typing the name of the action (e.g., "zoom" or "sprint"), and the mod will immediately highlight the right button. No more endless scrolling!

  • Visual Keyboard: There is a virtual keyboard built right into the settings. It shows at a glance which keys are occupied and which are free, making it easy to plan your layout.

  • Smart Conflict Resolution ("Solve" Button): Accidentally assigned two functions to one key and everything turned red? Just hit the "Solve" button, and the mod will automatically move conflicting actions to the nearest available keys.

  • Key Combinations (Combos): Running out of keys for all your mods? AeroBind allows you to bind actions to combinations, such as Shift + R or Alt + C.

  • Useful Filters: Feeling overwhelmed? Use filters to show only the keys active "In-game" (movement, jumping) or only "In-menu" (inventory, settings).

  • Quick Settings: Change mouse sensitivity, toggle auto-jump, or invert your mouse directly from the controls menu. No need to back out to the main settings!

  • Easy Sorting: Categories can be collapsed or expanded with a single click, allowing you to hide what you don't need right now.

With AeroBind, customizing your controls is fast, simple, and satisfying!

Frequently Asked Questions

AeroBind server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.12.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is AeroBind compatible with forge?

AeroBind officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.12.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with AeroBind – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if AeroBind consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
