About this Mod

This is a port of Presence Not Reuired to Fabric 1.18.2, made by javivi09dev for use in my modpack Eerie. For a more detailed explanation, please go to the original mod's description.

I don't plan to update this mod, but it is open source

This mod takes blocks and animals from when chunks are loaded in and updates them as if the chunk has always been loaded. This implements all the functionality of Presence Not Required, including:

Crop / plant growth
Furnaces, brewing stands, and campfire progress
Animal growth

How to Install Alive World on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Alive World". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Alive World server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
