About this Mod
Ally Effect
Ally Effect is a mod that enables players to bestow effects upon each other, themselves and their pets at the push of a button!
By default, the effect gives other players Regen 2, and the player Hunger 2. Heal your friends by sacrificing some saturation!
This can be changed by making a datapack though, since the Allyship effect under the hood actually just runs two mcfunctions!
One for the player performing the effect, and one for the player or entity receiving it!
The mod has a nice config, so you can change the animation that plays for players executing the effect, in addition to other things like how often the effect is executed, and what key executes the effect.

How to Install Ally Effect on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Ally Effect". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Ally Effect server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Ally Effect compatible with forge and neoforge?
Ally Effect officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.1, 1.21.1, 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Ally Effect – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Ally Effect consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
