Anatidaephobia

Anatidaephobia is a joke mod based on the fictitious fear that a duck might be watching you. Ducks will stalk players from a distance. Sometimes their arrival is announced by a quack or a message. There are three normal color variants and a very rare sunglasses duck. Ducks will flee when approached, but they can also be tamed using bread. Once tamed, they follow the player, and grant Dolphin’s Grace while swimming nearby. Ducks may also drop duck meat for cooking and eating.

The Duck is a passive mob that can randomly spawn near players. There are three standard color variants, plus a very rare sunglasses variant. When a duck spawns, there is a chance to hear a duck sound or receive the actionbar message “I think something is watching me…”. Ducks will always stalk the nearest player. Ducks have low health and do not attack. If a player comes within 10 blocks, untamed ducks will panic and run away. Players can right-click ducks with bread to tame them. Tamed ducks will follow their owner unless right-clicked again, can be healed using bread, and while swimming near their owner, they grant Dolphin’s Grace to help with underwater movement. When killed, ducks can drop duck meat, which can be eaten raw or cooked for better food value.
