About this Mod

Animatica Refabricated

Animatica Refabricated is a fork of Animatica supporting newer Minecraft versions.

A Minecraft mod for the Fabric mod loader intended to load the MCPatcher/OptiFine animated texture format.

What resource packs does this support?

Animatica adds support for resource packs that use custom animated textures

This includes:

Animated GUI textures
Animated entity textures
Animated block entity textures
Animated armor textures
Other animated textures (Animated blocks and items are a vanilla feature)

Animatica DOES NOT support:

Fully Custom GUI (OptiGUI for Fabric)
Custom entity models (CEM for Fabric)
Custom entity model part animations in 3D (CEM for Fabric)
Any other MCPatcher/OptiFine resource pack feature such as connected textures, etc

These features WILL NEVER be implemented in Animatica.

Animatica is ONLY for ANIMATED TEXTURES.

How to Install Animatica Refabricated on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2-rc-2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Animatica Refabricated". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Animatica Refabricated server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2-rc-2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
