About this Mod
Arcane Repository
Arcane Repository is a storage, auto-crafting, and utility mod that revolves around magical books as a form of item and fluid storage.
DISCLAIMER: This project is in early alpha. There may be breaking changes and they may result in lost items. Many features may behave incorrectly or be unfinished.
How it works
Arcane books are composed of a type page, (optionally) an action page, and attribute pages.
Storage books function similarly to bundles when interacted with from an inventory,
but they may be placed in chiseled bookshelves. Indexing books placed on nearby lecterns can then expose their contents,
allowing for expandable centralized storage systems. Storage and indexing books can be filtered with blacklist and whitelist pages,
and when placed on lecterns they can be extracted from or inserted into using hoppers and droppers.
Additionally, arbitrary auto-crafting recipes can be exposed to indexing lecterns via production books,
and production oversight books enable auto-crafting of complex recipe trees. There is no mana or energy;
auto-crafting only costs food. Any food will do, but the higher the nutrition, the less will be consumed.
Finally, action pages and attribute pages can be used to increase the stats of books or give them additional abilities.
Several utility pages exist, from making redstone-powered lecterns hurl their book's contents to letting players eat food directly from their held book.
