About this Mod
The Mod
This mod's idea is simple: it will alert you whenever your armour is about to break. It works by checking every tick if the ratio between the current durability of your armour and the max durability of your armour is less than a user-defined percent value.
It also plays a fun little sound every time this alert is triggered.
You do not need any other mods to run this one, it is completely independent of any other libraries.
How can I change the settings of the mod?
You can do this by typing /armornotifications in chat and hitting enter. This will bring you to the configuration screen, where you can change the settings you want and hit "done" when you're, well, done.

How to Install Low Armor Notifier on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Low Armor Notifier". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Low Armor Notifier server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Low Armor Notifier compatible with fabric and quilt?
Low Armor Notifier officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.19.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Low Armor Notifier – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Low Armor Notifier consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
