About this Mod
A simple mod to increase the difficulty of the game.
Main features of the ArmorWeight:
- Armor now has weight. Depending on the total weight of the player, a new "Encumbrance" effect will be applied, which is equal to the slowness. Mobs can also be affected by weight (can be changed in the config).
- HUD bar that shows current weight level and new tooltips for armor items.
- The weight of an armor item can be reduced with the new "Lightness" enchantment, which reduces the weight by 15% per level.
ArmorWeight is compatible with other mods that add armor items. To apply weight to such items, all you need to do is add an item entry to the config file.

How to Install ArmorWeight on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "ArmorWeight". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

ArmorWeight server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is ArmorWeight compatible with forge?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ArmorWeight consumes the most tick time.
