About this Mod

A simple mod that adds ash clay, a self-setting clay-like substance made from wood ash, as well as some blocks made of it.

This is a very small content mod that intends to provide a furnace alternative if stone is unavailable, for example in the early stages of a skyblock-style modpack.
The progression can be summarized in a few steps:

Craft and place a campfire
Break the campfire (without silk touch) to obtain ash
Use a bowl on a water source to fill it with water
Combine ash with the bowl of water to obtain ash clay
Place the ash clay on the floor to let it dry
Once dry, pick up the ash bircks
Combine the ash bricks in a 2x2 to create an ash bricks block
Craft 8 ash bricks block into a furnace

How to Install Ash Clay on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set quilt Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the quilt loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Ash Clay". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
