About this Mod
Description
With the AudioPlayer mod, the possibilities for Music Disc and Goat Horn sounds are endless. But what if you want your custom sound items to stand out with a splash of color? Enter AudioPlayer Blanks, a mod that allows you to create Music Discs and Goat Horns, each with 2 dyeable segments.
Features (as of version 1.21.6-1.0.2):
- Custom Music Disc crafted with an Audio Label and a Stripped Music Disc
- Custom Goat Horn crafted with an Audio Label and a Stripped Goat Horn
- Audio Label crafted using 4 paper and 1 redstone dust, dyeable, provides the color for the center label of the Custom Music Disc and wrapping of the Custom Goat Horn
- Stripped Music Disc crafted by smelting a valid Music Disc, dyeable, provides the color for the custom disc itself
- Stripped Goat Horn crafted by smelting a valid Goat Horn, dyeable, provides the color for the outsides of the custom horn
- Audio Label, Stripped Music Disc, and Stripped Goat Horn dye color can be removed by interacting with a Cauldron with water in it
- Default sounds of a record scratch and pop for Custom Music Discs and a kazoo toot for Custom Goat Horns
- Sound items can be assigned a sound using the AudioPlayer mod (run the command
/audioplayerfor more information) - Mod functions without AudioPlayer installed, but is infinitely more useful once it is installed
- Required on both server and client

How to Install AudioPlayer Blanks on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "AudioPlayer Blanks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

AudioPlayer Blanks server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is AudioPlayer Blanks compatible with fabric?
AudioPlayer Blanks officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.8. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with AudioPlayer Blanks – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if AudioPlayer Blanks consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
