AutoGrouping
Organizing modded items for your own comfort.
About this Mod
AutoGrouping
A Fabric mod aiming at making modded item organization just a tiny bit better.
What does this mod do?
AutoGrouping is an utility mod that looks for modded items in vanilla tabs and creates a new tab for these items!
One tab is created per mod, as long as it has at least one item in a vanilla group.
Why would this be useful?
*It might sound stupid and even useless like some my other stuff ahem, but this is useful for big modpacks, decreasing the amount of items in the same tab, which increases organization.*
So, can I use this in my modpack?
Yes! Yes you can! Feel free to use it, I just ask for credits.
Forge? X version??
There are currently no plans on making a Forge version.
I might do some backporting to versions as low as 1.16.

AutoGrouping server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is AutoGrouping compatible with fabric?
AutoGrouping officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.19.2, 1.19.1, 1.19. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with AutoGrouping – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if AutoGrouping consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
