Automatically hides Minecraft's HUD when not in use to protect OLED displays from burn-in and provide a more minimal experience.
Note: This project is a fork of Alphayt's mod OLED Saver with extra features, support for NeoForge, and support for Minecraft 26.1+.
Features
- Supports both Fabric and NeoForge
- Hotbar is only visible when switching inventory slots
- Health bar is only visible when your health changes or when not full
- Hunger bar is only visible when your hunger changes or when not full
- Armor bar is only visible when your armor changes
- XP bar and level is only visible when XP changes
- Mount jump/dash bar only shows when powering up
- Hide held item tooltips (Off by default)

How to Install Auto-Hide Hotbar on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Auto-Hide Hotbar". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Auto-Hide Hotbar server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Auto-Hide Hotbar compatible with fabric and neoforge?
Auto-Hide Hotbar officially supports fabric, neoforge for Minecraft 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Auto-Hide Hotbar – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Auto-Hide Hotbar consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
