About this Mod

A simple mod that allows for automated walking and sprinting. Currently, this mod supports 26.1 with Fabric 0.18.5>=, with plans to support future releases aswell. This is my first Minecraft mod and the purpose of it is to allow me to get familiar with Java and MC mod development. Apart from the Walk/Sprint toggle, there is also a config option that will auto disable the toggle if met with an obstruction, which supports Auto-Jump aswell. I'm open to feature requests aswell if anyone has any :)

Default Keybinds are:

'-': Auto Run

'=': Auto Walk

In config/automove.cfg, you can find the option to disable auto movement when obstructed by a block.

How to Install Auto Move on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Auto Move". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Auto Move server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Auto Move compatible with fabric?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Auto Move consumes the most tick time.
