Azmine is the rebranded successor to Arctic’s Vein Miner, now maintained under Azora Development.

• Mod ID changed from avm to azmine
• Config file changed from avm-common.toml to azmine-common.toml
• Old avm-common.toml configs are migrated automatically once on first Azmine launch when possible
• Remove the old AVM jar before installing Azmine

✨ Mining Patterns

⛏️ Vein

• Mines connected blocks of the exact same block type
• Uses 26-direction neighbor detection
• Configurable scan depth
• Respects maximum blocks per operation

Perfect for ores, logs, and large same-block clusters.

🌲 Column

• Mines a vertical stack of the same exact block type
• Searches upward and downward from the target block
• Useful for trees, kelp, bamboo-like columns, and vertical block pillars

🧱 Strip

• Mines a 1-wide × 2-tall strip forward
• Uses the block you click as the top of each 2-block column
• Uses tunnel length for forward distance
• Good for branch mining and controlled strip mining

🕳️ Small Tunnel

• Mines a straight 1×1 tunnel
• Direction based on where you are looking
• Works vertically and horizontally

---

🏗️ Large Tunnel

• Mines a 3×3 tunnel
• Fixed length of 10 blocks
• Hardness-aware to avoid breaking blocks harder than the starting block

🧩 Square

• Mines a square area on the face you hit
• Size configurable from 3×3 up to 15×15
• Odd sizes only
• Hardness-aware to prevent unintended block breaks

🎮 Controls

Default controls:

• Activate Azmine: ` / grave accent / backtick
• Cycle Pattern: Hold activation key + Left Alt, then scroll

Usage:

1. Hold Activate
2. Look at a block
3. Left-click to mine
4. Extra blocks break according to the selected pattern
5. Release Activate to return to normal mining

🧠 How It Works

• The selected block starts the mining operation.
• Extra blocks are calculated using the selected pattern.
• Drops attempt to go directly into your inventory.
• If your inventory is full, remaining drops fall naturally.
• Tool durability is applied with a configurable multiplier.
• Creative mode ignores durability.
• Sound and particles are clustered to avoid per-block spam.

Azmine intentionally keeps vein mining controlled:

• Veins match exact block IDs by default
• No ore-tag or log-tag grouping by default
• No per-block break sound spam
• No full vanilla destroyBlock() call for every extra block

📦 Installation

1. Download the correct Azmine file for your Minecraft version and loader
2. Place the Azmine JAR into your mods folder
3. Remove the old Arctic’s Vein Miner / AVM jar if installed
4. Launch the game
5. Adjust config/azmine-common.toml as needed
