# Baby4Ever Datapack
Keeps baby mobs as babies forever. Drop a diamond on a baby mob to freeze its age. Drop an iron ingot to unfreeze it.
## Features* Locks baby age so they don't grow up.* Player bound: Only the person who froze it (or the owner if it's a pet) can unfreeze it.* Works on tamed animals too.
## How to use1. Drop a Diamond on a baby mob. It eats the diamond and stays a baby.2. To unfreeze, drop an Iron Ingot on it. You have to be the one who froze it originally.
## Commands* /function baby4ever:admin/unfreeze_nearest - Force unfreeze the mob nearest to you.* /function baby4ever:admin/unfreeze_all - Force unfreeze everything.* /function baby4ever:admin/toggle_debug - Turn on debug messages in chat.

How to Install Baby4Ever on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1-snapshot-4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Baby4Ever". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Baby4Ever server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Baby4Ever – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Baby4Ever consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
