About this Mod

Barricades

Barricades is a lightweight mod that adds wooden barricades to the game. That's it, really.

A 16-pack of barricades can be crafted by placing 2 planks diagonally next to each other in a crafting grid.

Usage

Hold a Barricade and right click to a wall to place a barricade. Barricades are a unique type of entity as they do not take any sort of damage from vanilla/modded damage sources. A barricade has 5HP (if you don't know what that means, think of it like 5 hearts but you'll always deal one heart damage). When a barricade breaks, it will drop nothing.

Zombies can break barricades on any difficulty, and they will do it faster depending on the difficulty. Here is a detailed table:

How to Install Barricades on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Barricades". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Barricades server crashes on startup – what to do?
