About this Mod
BedLoader (BedrockSkinUtility & BedrockSkinUtilityPlus)
An updated client-side companion for GeyserSkinManager to restore Bedrock Edition player's skins on Java servers.

Origin
Instead of writing a mod from scratch, I always wanted to learn Java to make mods. But this time I needed people's help to get this mod work. In the future I will try to keep it updated and learn how Java works. Origin: https://github.com/Camotoy/BedrockSkinUtility, updated: https://github.com/Axionize/BedrockSkinUtilityPlus.
Requirements
- Fabric loader 0.16.12 or newer.
- GeyserSkinManager on the server.
How it works
Drag the mod into your mods folder and make sure that GeyserSkinManager is installed on the server you want to play on!
Special thanks
Thanks for the FabricMC community to help this project by solving different problems that I encountered.
Legal bits
Licensed under MIT license, just like the original project. You are free to download, edit and distribute this mod the way you want.

BedLoader server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is BedLoader compatible with fabric?
BedLoader officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with BedLoader – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if BedLoader consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
