This project is an unnoficial Fabric port of Better Flight [Forge] by ArkVeil.
The port was created by AtlasM8 using AI and NotchArrow doing bugfixes in the process.
Description
Flapping your wings Default: Z allows you to gain a boost by consuming flight stamina, which recharges from hunger.
Flaring your wings Default: X slows down your flight so that you can make decisions in midair.

This mod requires Trinkets to run because the project is meant to be used with Elytra Slot, a mod that uses Trinkets to allow you to equip your chestplate and elytra at the same time. You can install Trinkets without the other mod, but it will not provide the same functionality.

How to Install Better Flight on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Flight". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Better Flight server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
