This mod make leveling up system linear.

In vanilla, experience requires per level are nonlinear.

Higher level require more xp to the next level.

For example, to get from level 1 to level 10 only requires 160 xp. But get from level 39 to level 40 requires 193 xp.

This leads to a lot of waste of xp on cost level of other mods, or just vanilla enchant.

Value can be customized in server config:

Xp requires per level (default:46, the average to get from level 0 to level 30)
Xp increases per level (default: 0)

other versions will in future.(for now, we have 1.16.5 1.18.2 forge; 1.18~1.18.2 fabric)

How to Install Better Level on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Level". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Better Level server crashes on startup – what to do?
