This mod backports the locator bar that lets you see where your friends are from modern Minecraft to a heavily modified version of beta 1.7.3 called Better Than Adventure!

This mod adds an xp-like bar just above your hotbar that lets you see where your friends are indicated by a colored dot!

As you move your camera, the dot changes in the x direction to indicate where your friend is! And as you move further away from your friend, their dot gets smaller!

Not every feature of the locator bar has been added yet; this is what is planned:

Y-level difference indicator
The bar does not track a player outside of one's own render distance.

How to Install Better Locator Bar on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set bta-babric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the bta-babric loader and matching Minecraft version (b1.7.3).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Locator Bar". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
