Summary

This is a mod which makes resource packs versioning better and more compatible.

Changes how vanilla resource pack compatibility check works so it won't think your pack is imcompatible or broken.
Makes your resource pack to easily support more versions without needing extra meta files.
Write your pack.mcmeta freely with no more "Broken or incompatible"!
Supports all formats(pack_format, supported_formats, min_format & max_format) in pack.mcmeta

Usage

Download the .jar file and place it into your mods folder like other mods.

Q&A

Q: Will it support other verions?
A: Currently planning to make a Forge/NeoForged version and port it to 1.21.4, 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.18.2 and 1.16.5.

How to Install Better Resource Pack Versioning on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.9).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Resource Pack Versioning". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
