About this Mod

This is an independent data pack for epic underground cave terrain, optimizing the original cave terrain and adding large underground cave features.

💡Features:

Better caves, where there will be more flat ground, reducing vertical drop caves (the aim is to descend layer by layer like in a dungeon).
Reduce the generation of large caves in low elevation and flat terrain, mainly generating on mountains.
Add randomly generated underground caverns below y0 and generate magma rivers.

How to Install Better Underground Caves on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Underground Caves". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
