This mod causes the crosshair to display differently when you can hit a player's hitbox. It is possible to change the color and size of the crosshair indicator.

How does it work?
Better Crosshair Indicator displays visual markers around your crosshair when aiming at other players. this mod provides clear, centered feedback directly on your crosshair.
The indicator appears as four corner brackets that frame your crosshair.

How to Install Better Crosshair Indicator on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Crosshair Indicator". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
