About this Mod
BetterPVE
BetterPVE is a PvE-focused Minecraft mod that makes survival combat, cave exploration, mining, and progression feel more rewarding without turning the game into a completely different experience.
The mod adds a full progression system with tasks, rewards, PvE currency, cave encounters, stronger underground mobs, useful utility blocks, and an in-game shop. It is made for players who want vanilla survival to have more long-term goals and more reasons to explore, fight, mine, and build automation.
Features
Progression System
BetterPVE adds a large task-based progression system split into multiple categories:
- Combat
- Mining
- Automation
- Exploration
- Shop
Complete tasks, claim rewards, and slowly build up your PvE progression while playing normal survival.
PvE Currency
The mod adds PvE Coins, which can be earned through tasks and PvE activities. Coins can be used in the built-in shop to buy useful survival items.
In-Game Shop
Open the BetterPVE menu and spend your PvE Coins on useful items and resources. The shop is designed to support survival progression without completely replacing normal gameplay.
Cave Encounters
Instead of adding huge custom dungeons, BetterPVE focuses on natural cave encounters. While exploring underground, players can run into stronger PvE mobs that make caves more dangerous and more rewarding.
Cave Difficulty Scaling
Mobs become more dangerous deeper underground. This makes deep mining and cave exploration feel more intense, especially in lower world heights.
Utility Blocks
BetterPVE adds several useful blocks for survival and automation:
- Mob Detector
- Spawn Ward
- Block Damager
- Material Exchanger
- Reinforced Hopper
- Chunk Loaders
- Vertical Wooden Slabs
These blocks are designed to improve PvE survival, base defense, resource handling, and building.
Block Damager
The Block Damager is a special utility block that can attack nearby mobs using a sword placed inside it. It can store experience and works as a useful PvE automation block.
Vertical Slabs
BetterPVE also adds vertical wooden slabs for better building options while keeping the vanilla style.
