About this Mod
Bird Feeder
Put out seed, water, and a little patience — and let your world fill with birds.
Summary
Place a bird feeder and a bird bath, fill them, and wild birds drop by to feed, sip, and bathe. Purely cozy — no farming, just a world that feels alive.
Description
Real life has a simple joy: you hang a feeder, and birds you'd never otherwise see come by to visit. Bird Feeder brings that to Minecraft.
Place a Bird Feeder and a Bird Bath, keep them stocked, and wild flyers will drift in on their own — land, feed or splash for a few seconds, and go on their way. Nothing is bred. Nothing is farmed. There's no counter to optimise. It's just a quiet bit of life that makes a base, a garden, or a porch feel lived-in.
What you get
- 🪶 A bird feeder you mount like a bell — stand it on the ground, bracket it to a wall, or hang it under a tree branch. It even drops if you break what's holding it.
- 🌻 Different food brings different visitors. Load it and watch who shows up:
- Seeds → parrots
- Flowers (any kind) → bees
- Amethyst shards → allays
- The tray even changes colour to match what's inside.
- 💧 A bird bath that birds sip and splash in. Fill it with a water bucket — or just let the rain top it up.
- 🕊️ Calm, random visits. Birds come every so often, not in a swarm. It's ambience, not a spectacle.
- 🪣 Hopper-friendly — pipe seed straight into the feeder, composter-style fill stages and all.

Works with your other mods
Visitors are driven by a simple tag (#birdfeeder:visitors). Run a mod that adds birds? Drop its entity into that tag (or it does it itself) and those birds start visiting too — no hard dependency either way.
