About this Mod
Randomizer Mod changes Minecraft by giving every block a unique random item drop.
When a block is broken for the first time, it receives a random item from the entire item list.
From that point on, that block type will always drop the same assigned item for the rest of the world.
This creates a simple but fun challenge that works well for survival runs, SMP events, or randomizer gameplay.
How it works
Each block type gets one random item the first time it is broken
The assigned drop stays the same for the entire session
Vanilla drops are replaced
Only one item is dropped per block
Commands
/challenge start – Enables the randomizer
/challenge pause – Pauses the randomizer
/challenge stop – Disables the randomizer

Features
Consistent random drops
Works in singleplayer and multiplayer
Sound feedback for each command

Block Randomizer server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Block Randomizer compatible with fabric?
Block Randomizer officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Block Randomizer – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Block Randomizer consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
