I haven't updated this mod in a while, and since newer versions allow you to put leads on boats this mod isn't as useful anymore. So I will not update it.

Boat Step Up

Mod loader: Fabric

This mod makes boats go up small height differences on ground and in water.
It is required on server and client.

Dependencies

Fabric API
(Technically just Fabric Networking API v1)

Config

Can be changed config/boat_step_up.json, reload required.

groundStepHeight (default 0.25)
The height difference that a boat can 'step up'.
waterStepHeight (default 3)
The water level difference (out of 9) that the boat can swim up without sinking.

How to Install Boat Step Up on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Boat Step Up". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
