📚 BookTypeEnchanting: Lightweight, Class-Specific Enchantment Books

BookTypeEnchanting is a small, easy-to-install Minecraft mod that introduces craftable, class-specific enchantment books tied to particular tool and armor types. These books can only be applied to items of the corresponding class and are subject to configurable material tier restrictions.

🛠️ Main Features

• Class-Specific Books: Adds unique enchantment books for:
  • Tools: sword, axe, pickaxe, shovel, hoe, bow, crossbow, trident.
  • Armor: helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots.
• Simple Crafting: Books are created using a straightforward recipe.

🔨 Crafting Recipe

The crafting rule is simple and applies to all classes (exept trident, see below)

8x books + class item -> 8x Class Type Book

Triden type book has a different recipe to make it more easy to craft

🪄Usage

Just place it in the Enchanting table add some lapis and choose the enchanting you want (it will only show enchanting for the specific type of weapon/tool/armor the book is for) and it becomes a normal enchanted book you can apply normally in the anvil.

💾 Installation

1. Place the mod jar file into your Minecraft mods folder.
2. Start your game

• Modpacks: This mod is explicitly permitted for use in any public or private modpack. No need to ask for permission to edit or include it!
