About this Mod
Bottled Biomes
Bring the world to you.
Have you ever found the perfect biome, only to wish it was closer to your base? Or maybe you’re a builder who wants to bring the vibrant colors of a Jungle into your Desert home? Bottled Biomes is a survival-friendly utility mod that allows you to extract the very essence of biomes and store them in bottles to use wherever your heart desires.
Features
Biomemancy at your Fingertips: Use the Biome Extractor to capture the essence of any biome you visit.
Dynamic Landscapes: Release your stored biomes using the Biome Brush or by throwing a Splash Biome Bottle to transform the surrounding area.
The Newly Placed Biomes are height specific so the biome you place is only in a Specific Range around you and not form the bottom of the world to the very top letting you place multiple different biomes above each other. If you want to see exactly where you changed a biome we highly recommend turning off biome blend while using the brush. The biome size Is generally at a size where you should be able to use the standard 5 block biome blend and still see where the new biome is, but you might want to not use it while modifying your biomes.
Getting Started
To begin your journey into Biomemancy, you’ll need a few essential tools:
Item List
Biome Extractor: The primary tool for "sampling" a biome. Right-click in a biome to fill an empty bottle with its essence.
Biome Bottle: The storage vessel for your captured biomes. When filled, the bottle will take on the color of the biome it contains.
Splash Biome Bottle: A throwable version of the biome bottle. Throw it to instantly create a localized biome patch where it lands. Can be Crafted by combining a Filled Biome Bottle with gunpowder in a crafting Table.
Biome Brush: A precision tool used to apply a bottled biome to specific blocks or small areas without the splash effect.
Golden Feather: A rare crafting component. You’ll need this to craft your Biome Brush.
FAQ
How do I get the Golden Feather? It’s a rare drop from Chickens! Keep an eye out while farming.
Does this mod destroy the original biome? No! This mod is non-destructive; extracting a biome essence simply "copies" it for your use.
Is it compatible with modded biomes? Yes! Bottled Biomes is designed to be highly compatible and should work with most biomes added by other world-generation mods.
Can I use this mod in my modpack? Absolutely! We'd be honored. All we ask is that you credit us and provide a link back to this Modrinth page.
