Always know when your animals and villagers are ready to breed!
This lightweight client-side Fabric mod displays floating timers above breedable animals and villagers, showing exactly when they can breed again and how long babies take to grow up.
Features
Breed Cooldown Timers
- Floating labels — Clear countdown timers displayed directly above each animal or villager
- Baby growth timers — See exactly when baby animals and villagers will grow up
- Love mode indicator — Visual feedback when animals are in love mode

Villager Support

Smart Rendering
- Distance-based fading — Timers fade out smoothly at longer distances
- FOV culling — Only renders timers for entities within your field of view

- Configurable scan radius — Control how far the mod looks for animals and villagers
- Background opacity — Adjustable background for better readability

Supported Animals
All breedable animals in MC 26.1 are covered:

Plus Villagers with full breed cooldown and baby tracking.

Configure everything in-game via ModMenu:

Available Versions
How to Install BreedTimer on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BreedTimer". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

BreedTimer server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is BreedTimer compatible with fabric?
BreedTimer officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with BreedTimer – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if BreedTimer consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
