About this Mod

Bundle In Palette

Bundle In Palette adds sixteen dyed variants of the vanilla bundle so you can color-code your inventory and storage.
This mod requires Bundle In Creative (or any mod that restores the vanilla bundle recipe) so the new dyes have something to tint.

Dyed Bundles

Features

  • 16 bespoke bundle textures covering every vanilla dye color.
  • Shapeless recipes: combine one vanilla bundle with any dye to recolor it.
  • Automatically injected into the Tools & Utilities creative tab.
  • All bundles (vanilla + dyed) share the forge:bundles item tag for compatibility.
  • Target platform: Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge 47.x.

Optional Tooltip Tinting

  • Dyed bundles can tint their tooltip background to match their dye. This is off by default to keep vanilla styling.
  • Enable via configs with a config UI mod like Configured. You can also edit config/bundleinpalette-client.toml (dyedBundleTooltipColors=true).

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is BundleInPalette compatible with forge?

BundleInPalette officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with BundleInPalette – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if BundleInPalette consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
